I finally get an Aftyn!!Third times a charm!

It is Mumsey's 89th birthday today and Aftyn Eileen Andersen is getting ready for the ride home. We are so grateful!

I believe this is a couple of hours after her birth 3/16/09

Courtney sure knows how to make a mess of a doctor!
She just exploded on her when Aftyn was making her entrance.

Aftyn, day two in her Auntie Brynn's arms. The swelling
had gone down quite a bit and we can see she is a cutie!

Me with my "Baby Girl"!!!

We made the long drive up to WA last week to witness my "baby girl" having her third baby girl! Brian, Brynn and I drove straight through about 20 hours, but we were so excited to get up here to see all of our little girls, it was worth it! Avery and Adalynn are so funny! We just had Saturday and Sunday morning with them then off to Seattle to greet little Aftyn into the world. The trip to Seattle was pretty hairball! It took about 4 and a half hours. There was so much snow we were really not sure we were going to make it over the pass. We left Avery and Adalynn in Royal because we had no idea what to expect after Aftyn was born. If a trip for Aftyn to Children's hospital was to be, better the girls were at home. I fell in love with the name Afton a long time ago and was hoping that one of my granddaughters would be able to have that name...my wish came true! Courtney did put her little spin on it using a "Y" instead of "O" she thought it looked more feminine. I was even more excited to know she would also have my middle name, Eileen!! She just gets cuter every day, so far Aftyn has been very cooperative as far as her night feedings and sleeping good. She had a little problem with jaundice but as of today that is in check. The only other thing is that dang cyst! A decision will be made about her surgery when she is 2 or 3 months old. I am sure you all know I am in 7th heaven right now and it will get even better at the end of the week when Holden and Ryan get here. I will have all four of my grand kids at once. That does not happen very often because of all the miles in between, so we cherish those moments.
